Va’ad ha Rabanim of Greater Seattle

For those who keep kosher and are concerned about what to eat while at the Seattle IAJGS conference, not to worry!

The SIG lunches all have kosher options, and there will be box lunches for sale as well each day. Shabbat meals (for both the Shabbat before and after the conference) will be available as well. During the dessert reception the first evening, there will be a table with kosher desserts for you to enjoy.

All of the conference-supplied kosher meals are under the certification of the Seattle Vaad HaRabanim.  As the conference is taking place during the Nine Days, there is a non-meat kosher option at each weekday meal for those who require that.

To select Kosher meal, log in to the Attendee Service Center and select your choice of meals.

Do Kosher Seattle!

In addition to meals available through the conference, Seattle has multiple kosher restaurants.  The one closest to the conference hotel is Bamboo Garden (http://www.bamboo-garden.co/), a kosher Chinese vegetarian restaurant under the certification of the Vaad HaRabanim.  Other options can be seen at http://seattlevaad.org/portfolio-type/restaurant/#restaurant .
