Richard J. Goldman began researching his family’s history in 1954. He is retired as General Manager of the Baltimore Jewish Federation’s Pearlstone Conference Center. He spent twenty years as Jewish Educational, Youth and Camp Director.
He has been President of the JGS of Maryland 1996-2002; Co-President 2013-2015 and current is Vice-President. He served as Chair of Exhibitors & Vendors committee for the IAJGS Conference in Washington, 2003. Richard has participated in eight IAJGS Conferences. He was past coordinator for Kutno & Swencionys Groups at JewishGen.
In Baltimore, he has served as Co-Chair for Limmud in Maryland (2011 & 2012) and Adjunct Faculty, Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). In both cases he teach genealogy workshops and classes. He has been a lecturer for 40+ years and a paid family researcher since retirement.
