Born at Balaklea, Ukraine, Nadia Lipes grew up at Kiev. From 1994 to 1998 she studied Judaica and Sociology at International Jewish Solomon’s University (Ukraine). She studied Sociology at Tel Aviv University (Israel) from 1998-2000. And since 2007, she has been a professional Jewish Historian and Jewish Heritage trips organizer.

Nadia has presented at a variety of Jewish educational seminars, included past IAJGS conferences. She is the founder of www.jewua.info (Jewish Genealogy Research at Ukraine) company.

    • Jewish agricultural colonies 1800-1900
    • Synagogue members and local rabbi elections 1830-1917
    • Lists of Jewish pogroms victims 1917-1922; and
    • Jewish emigration lists and organizations 1900-1922 etc.
